A new mantra: Those who do not organize get taxed

I wrote a blog post for the National Society of IT Service Providers. It was published yesterday. On April 3rd, the organization joined with the Maryland Chamber of Commerce in opposition to a 3% tax on MSP services. It was too late and too small of a response.

The lesson that we take from this, is that we have to get behind this organization and make it as large as the AICPA and the Maryland State Bar Association, because they got themselves not only exempt but were able to move the proposed law from a business-to-business tax, which would have included them, into a tech tax which only includes us. Why? Because we are weak and unorganized.
